exploring the sights of Pokhara — the gateway to the himalayas — in Nepal

After completing my trekking in the Annapurna Region of Nepal I spent a few days exploring Pokhara. The bustling city is situated next a body of water called Phewa Lake, and has one main shopping avenue with cafes and restaurants that runs perpendicular to it.

There's also a great outdoor movie theater nestled next to a bit of the jungle. I also decided to take advantage of the numerous outdoor activity companies in the city and tried something new: a paragliding excursion.
