Porto-Vecchio + AjaccioJuly 5th to 7th, 2023

visiting the cities of Porto-Vecchio & Ajaccio on the island of Corsica in France

I had some time to waste after finishing the GR 20 2 days earlier than planned, so I spent a few days checking out the historic portions of the cities of Porto-Vecchio, and Ajaccio (the capital).

Porto-Vecchio had easy pedestrian access in the historic part, and great views at dinner thanks to the hillside location. Over on the west coast, Ajaccio had a more everyday vibe with a busy harbor always filled with cruise ships, and cafe-lined streets.
